Kiyoko Tail Progression Stuck?

I've been sharing my essence with Kiyoko for about 180~ ingame days, and I've gotten her pregnant a shit ton of times, (more than I can even remember) but now it seems like she's stuck at only seven tails. Is this natural or does she need a ludicrous amount of babies to progress to the eigth and ninth tails? I know she can't be freed but I'd at least like to maximize her tail count in the event that her questline can be progressed. Also cuz I wanna maximize the THICCNESS.

As far as I know the only scene in game that mentions how many kids you currently have with Kiyoko is the one you unlock at 32 children, so you can´t use that.

If you are playing using Google Chrome you can use the DevTools to check the number of kits. Open the developers console and type:

flags.KIYOKO_NUM_KITS

That should tell you the number of children.
