Kitsune transformative question (possible spoilers)

So when you become a Kitsune you give up your soul to Keros, he gives you a dummy soul. My question is in future updates will this change soul related bad Ends such as the Cultist compound where Tollus rips out your soul and is more powerful than Kasyrra? Like would that instead change to him just outright killing you or a chance to escape? Possibly Kero's tossing you into the astral plane while laughing at Tollus?

Also does this mean we could in future builds possibly align our souls with other gods? Will gods or messengers have issues with us in the future for being a Kitsune? Also will we get kimono's or Kitsune styled armor at a later point?

Currently you can actually get Kitsune style armour after doing the floof house mission. There is a shop in the den that sells an assortment of stuff to make any weeb happy. Not sure about the other stuff though, that seems like a question better answered by the writers

Fair enough thanks, and wow that decoy must be powerful lol Tolus even with it overthrows Kas lol. Seriously though I'm very much enjoying your kitstune content and I love all the additional Kinu perspective content.

From what I remember you can also get a sash, jewellery and some Lamellar armour

So another question does anyone know if they plan on adding the ability to increase the tail count? I'm at 4 after I made the deal with keros, and am wondering if there will be a 9 tail option like the first CoC along with the perks that come with being a 9 tail.

IIRC, you'll have your level -1, with a minimum of 2.

so if you want a full 9 tails you're gonna have to wait till level ten is released if it ever is

Oh okay yeah I wasn't sure how they were planning on doing it, I hope they increase the level cap from 5.

We're currently, what, a quarter of the way through the planned content once Winter City drops? A third? Of course they're gonna eventually raise the level cap, there just isn't a need for it right now because all the current encounters are balanced around a max level of 5. Per the public design docs, the planned max level is going to be 10 by the end of the game.

Is transforming into a Kitsune suppose to affect your chosen background? In one of my saves, I had a scholar background, but after transforming I noticed that my conversations suddenly adopted the noble scion background. Wanted to see if anyone else experienced this before putting up a proper bug report.

That might be a bug, but now that you mention it my Charmer who was an escort had the same thing happen. Unless observer says otherwise might want to make a bug report about that
