Does anyone know how to become a dragon? Gryvian isn't the other half of the equation, prerequisite is feline-morph

To quote myself...
Or I'm completely wrong and someone will point out the very obvious mistake I'm making.

To be fair, it isn't at all intuitive that "Dragonne" would indicate a dragon/feline hybrid, and that is something I hadn't heard of before.

I thought you just needed the appropriate feline-morph and gryvain racial scores to achieve the dragonne race? /fires up a test save/
Nope, Gryvain and dragon scores are altogether different things. It's like the difference between canine and Ausar. The dragon stuff is just saved from CoC for future use. You'll find a lot of racial scores that aren't actually implemented while save editing.

This begs the question, why are things that are very much a representation of draconic features not counted as "dragon". I'm relatively certain we can get a forked tongue, which is generally considered the basic dragon tongue. I think that we need a way to put the code that's been saved from CoC to fit the forms we already have in game to produce the races that are there. If you look at the dragon race requirements on smutosaur.us you get these traits which I've followed with some in-game TF results that fit for commonly accepted dragon definitions:
Has draconic face +1 <generally muzzled is more than enough since the rest is mostly pointy teeth/scales/horns>
Has draconic ears +1 <triangular and placed on the top of the head should be sufficient (feline, canine, etc.)
Has draconic tail +1 <Long tapering (scaled) prehensile seems to be popular as well but is not necessarily in keeping with dragons in general. (naga lower body or the tails from Leithan Charm or DracoGuard Pills)
Has draconic tongue +1 <long perhaps prehensile (Leithan), I have not been able to find a "forked" tongue described in the TFs>
Has draconic wings (small or large) +1 <bat-like leathery (Gryvain-Dracoguard or Demonic-Lucifer)
Has draconic legs +1 <Plantigrade>
Has draconic or reptilian horns +1 <Honestly considering how many different kinds of horns I've seen on dragons pretty much any horns will do. I've even seen ram-style horns on dragons.>
Dragon score at least 1 & Has scales +1. <Honestly I'd say being scaled would be a prerequisite. I'd remove this and require that all of the other skin-based traits be required to have scales except wings.>

As I see it the alternative to this solution or something similar would be to simply add the draconic tag to any of the above mentioned draconic forms.

??? Besides no visible external ears (classical lizard dragons or more modern D&D) or bony ridges I've never seen any draconic character with mammal-like ears that wasn't some sort of hybrid.

Right . . . the real problem is that there are SOOOOO many interpretations of dragons, and we didn't even really touch on the eastern dragons. The most common dragon ears, in no particular order, are: Feline (scaled rather than furred), frilled, curled, earholes, completely non-visible (the vast majority of dragon images you've ever seen., and we can't forget lagomorphic. If they exist they are inevitably long.

My point in all of this is that ears are so EXTREMELY varied in draconic lore that we may as well accept that any ears you could have are acceptable and remove the racial point from the list. I think that bat-like wings are probably the single most important feature, without allowing for eastern dragons, which lets be honest are kind of out of keeping with most people's ideas of dragons in the english speaking regions. The remaining features that I can think of that define dragon, listed in descending order of most defining to least, would be: scaled (perhaps an extra plus one for this and wings), *breath weapon*, plantigrade legs (maybe +1 for four legs?), long tapering tail (prehensile isn't fitting in my opinion but doesn't need to be excluded), slit-pupiled eyes, horns/antlers/spines/frills/crest(perhaps beard, could get complicated fast though), muzzled face, *long serpentine neck*, claws, fangy carnivorous type teeth. Asterisked are features that I do not believe are implemented or maybe possible in the game. I have no doubt that anyone, myself included could come up with a longer and more exhaustive list, but the further we go beyond this the more conjecture and argument over relevance can occur.

In regards to the hybrid thing, meh . . . I hesitate to call anything that "half-dragon" or such a hybrid. I tend to define dragons by the quantity of the aforementioned features on a weighted scale. I.E., a creature could be wingless and qualify but it would have to have all or most of the other features. There are also several "high cannon" dragons, such as crushogre mentioned. I would also point out the several versions of St. George and the Dragon have furry dog or fox like ears.

After you mentioned it, I was looking at the dragons in the new Zelda game, they have long, floppy ears.

I kinda think that a Night Fury like transformative should be included, maybe a system akin to the Catnip transformative would work for the different variations of dragons.

The point to me is simple. There's NEVER going to be a precise Dragon Race. So we need to come up with a way to get the Draconic Racial Features put into the game so you can make a Dragonmorph or whatever it is that floats your boat and you can get racial modifiers out of it. That is, was, and continues to be the purpose of my posts attempting to clarify these things in as close to gaming structure as I can.

I would also like to point out that Naga bodies should be counted as a tauric body in regards to available sexual engagements. The size of a snakes body is determined by two factors. The first is how they kill their prey. In order for a Naga body to be useful as a constriction appendage (how the Naleen are presented), the tail portion would have to be a MINIMUM of six foot eight inches (6' 8") long to go around the average human's body ONCE. Most constrictors coil two to four times around any prey they would consider killing to consume. The results are that a Naleen tail SHOULD be somewhere between 13' 4" and 26' 8". If you want to suggest that the Naleen are more like vipers, asps, and adders; then you face a similar concern of the "S" shaped spring shape that these snakes use to strike requires a similar length if not even longer. The Shortest you could get would probably be from the Naja genus of snakes most of which strike like the king cobra does. Which is to say, they raise their head well above their target and fall forward into their prey, biting upon impact. The major exceptions in the Naja genus being water snakes which tend to be exceptionally long snakes in general and spitting cobras which tend to be as large as other members of the Naja genus. The second determining factor is they size of the snake's prey, We are informed that Naleen prey (the only extant naga race with any depth of information) are confirmed to include: Zil, Vanae, automated scout mechs, and terrans. The racial description of the Naleen tells us that the they rise to about six feet, then follows up to say that they are usually "more than twice that length" from tail tip to pate. I believe that this woefully underestimates how long the naga body should be. Still though I think that even with 7-9' of almost pure muscle tail, designed for constriction of prey, a Naga would be able to engage with and be engaged by any of the tauric body templates I've seen.

*looks at the above post, shakes head* I seem to have allowed myself to get carried away in discussing this.

Except unlike with "taur bodies", naga bodied characters have their genitals located an their groinal area of their humanoid torso and not on an inconvenient location like between the hind legs of your tauric half

I wonder what Xanthe uses to switch up her genital configuration, and whether such a TF could be written for taurs to use. That could solve the whole front/hind genital arrangement for some.

Lore answer: some mods are only made for alien species and not for human consumption and vice-versa.

Actual answer: your main genitals can only be on one spot at a time and switching your genital location to the front would lead many other issues with scenes code.

Actually there's already code support for genital locations and while I don't think you can change them yet outside of save editing, it's probably going to be TFable in the future. I know some scenes also have variations depending on your genital location as well.

Unfortunately this is obviously even less supported than Taur content, so we're back to the issue of someone has to write it.

Valid point. I had considered that there seems to be a strange standard of defining who can take dick from and give cock to tauric characters. I can conceive that it might be a bit of a "stretch" to whisper sweet nothings into your lover's ear, but aside from that it's pretty much a matter of logistics.

Here's where my opinions start :p There seems to be a lot of "body not sturdy enough" sort of thing. For giving cock to taurs, I'd say this is pretty simple. If you dick is big enough to let them feel it and activate the "pleasure buttons" of the species (I.E., pull a humans inner labia to cause the clitoris to be disturbed thereby creating pleasure or to meaningfully compress and rub the graffenberg(sp) spot), AND they have a body that can maneuver into position with a tauric body; then they should be able to give said pleasure. For the first, in game I have three penes, a relatively modest (for a porn star) at 12"; my "so you wanna know if you like hyper?", cock coming in at 24" or so; and my actual hyper which is around 4' (48"). I would say pretty that ONE of these should be able to pleasure just about ANY creature currently in the game (yes I'd think that a female frost wyrm would like a four footer, maybe get porn star eyes over it but be happy yup). As for positioning, that really comes to common sense I guess. A taur could obviously position well with another taur. I don't think that a significant argument could be made that a naga couldn't do the same. I can see how it might be troublesome for a humanoid that wasn't a giant(ess) to fit that bill.

For receiving I think the biggest single factor is capacity of the orifice. Followed closely by the ability to withstand a possibly much larger creatures violent rutting against your body. Finally, the ability to position oneself appropriately without the need of special devices. For the first of these we already have a measurement in game which can easily be parsed. If any huminoid in the game can actually take a hypercock then the stat should be the dictating guideline. For the second, I would say that some combination of physique/tone/thickness, say any combination of the three that = 180 or more, should qualify. Finally regarding the "break yourself against my body" crap, to steal a line from WoW, really? There are people today in this very world who can handle being rutted by real life equivalents, if they can manage the organs inside themselves. The thought of humans as fragile creatures that can be broken by the slightest thing are constantly refuted by real world evidence. Sure if you put something inside of us and then shove it with great force when it's too large to be handled it'll kill us. But I personally know people who've had a 1000 pound engine and transmission (from a car) fall onto their chest and rest there for 10 minutes who's worst complaint about it was, my chest is a little sore. Doctors checked, no broken bones no what have you. I could go on there's more, I'll stop beating a horse that MAY be dead. As far as positioning goes, I believe that the aforementioned notes about positioning cover this as well.

To conclude, I guess I keep on about this because I am in fact a Naga player. I'm probably the minority. I'm probably the most vocal proponent of the benefits/joys of such. In the end, I love the body form and will not apologize nor fail to speak where I see things being treated "incorrectly" in my opinion. I feel that the Pupper club does the same thing, as do the Kittylovers. I'm just trying to hold up my end of the kink world :D

At least you can read most of the scenes without weird portal science going on (besides spreading legs or such). Us taurs have to deal with writers not blocking the body shape but not making an effort for it to make sense.
I hear ya. I would be a taur along with you guys if I didn't have naga available. I want all of us "exotic bodies" to have "equal smut" but it's a hard fight and we'll have to learn to stand up for each other and the other disenfranchised kinks as well. That means that you might rub elbows with a preggo lover, or a comflationist, or maybe even <.< . . . >.> a mormon 0.o. Even I don't know how they manage to get away with their kink! But we need to support ALL varieties of kink we need to make a show of solidarity in order to prove that we have rights to smut too. All so we can be smacked back into place when Fen says, "Nope, not gonna happen." Heheh :p
