Yes. You read the dialogue, right? She gives a 1-to-1 description of Isabella when describing her sister, and if you go into the game files she has a bust to match Isabella too (minus the quad nipples).
No need to be sassy. I though, beyond Kas, the developers wanted to stray away to connecting the two games. That is how it seemed to me.
Oh, that's because CoC1 is kind of a mess; too disorganized to reuse the setting.
There's no travel back and forth, yeah, but demonic corruption and other beings Kas brings (like her daughters) are definitely from Mareth.
those losers from mareth could only throw inanimate objects like potion out of the portals to other worlds. they couldnt really go there, theres no travel back from mareth. all realms lead to mareth where the corrupted mages became demons, that what the old intro to the game explained. they deleted that part now to distance coc2 more from coc1.
which is why Kas escaping is a big deal and opening another portal to get aileh brings out the abyssal thing.
But eventually endgame, we gotta see mareth:
