Is There is Significant Difference Between Pistol and Non-Pistol?

Yeah, probably a dumb question, but I just got myself curious about this. I'm a smuggler, so does a pistol give better reflex or something compared to, let's say, a carbine?

All of the stats weapons have are shown in the tool tips; if you hover your mouse over it's icon the stats will show up. The normal difference between long-barreled guns and pistols is that the pistol has a higher chance of a critical hit, while the long-barreled variant has higher accuracy. There are some weapons that buck this mold, however, like some of Emmy's specialty weapons.

Basically to sum it up, not really in terms of stat. For the role playing aspects of being a Smuggler, sure. Otherwise nothing really changes except what @Lancer mentioned a higher chance of critical hit.

Thank you all for replying

Yep, the RP aspects was something I wanted but I just look at the rifles (since I main guns) and think "That's some good damage". Do pistol keep pace, scaling wise, well compared to rifles?

On a totally different side question, I've been reading the wiki and was confused at "turn [name] into a bimbo". What does that do?

Scaling wise, yes they do. I remember from Fenoxo or Savin (just from memory so I could be misinterpreting), was that higher level weapons like from Emmy, Kirila, Kazra and Lorre, plus some weapons rewarded from the quests, is that the weapons are scaled so that they can be used effectively even in the later stages Steele's journey. For example my my bimbo Steele who is a Mercenary pure melee specialist still uses the Jolt Hammer from Emmy (not the Tweaked one) and I was still able to beat the FrostWyrm with my build.

As for your second question, since I am guessing we are talking about a weapon, and not consumable items; You are talking about the Slut Ray, and the Advanced Slut Ray, basically is that they raise the lust meter of anyone it targets. I was able to effectively take out Amara Faell (a reasonably challenging boss in Kara Quest 2), by raising her lust meter almost and her cronies out of commision smoothly if you want an easy alternative rather than guns blazing, fighting fair and square. Recommended for all careers as the double shot perk grants along with tease attacks (courtesy of Grey Goo armor and Bimbo Siegwulfe) to almost oneshot any opponent, especially for Tech Spec players, as it buffs energy weaponry as a passive perk during level up so my Tech Spec Steele can not only shoot multiple times, but the lust damage increases.

The Slut Rays are not effective against Uveto natives however.

Where pistols are available they will keep up with rifles, but the amount of pistols greatly decreases as the weapons get more powerful. The current best guns are all rifles.

You'll need to identify where exactly you saw that phrase, as that short phrase isn't specific enough, with the amount of bimbofying items, events, and people in TiTS. Generally being "bimbofied" refers to intelligence loss, growth of female breasts, buttocks, vaginas (if previously male), and hair.

@Endwar The Slut Ray's effects don't mention turning people into bimbos, so that wouldn't be it.

@Lancer *After rereading the description* Oh yeah your right, Though I could swear I remember that description from somewhere but I forgot what it was. It cant be the bimbo raygun as it is specifically keyed to Penny.

Though to be fair the wiki did suffer some sort of 'blackout' (?) if i understood where a significant portion of its information got erased. So i could have remembered it being to either the slut ray or a consumable that I forgot or has since been edited.

The TiTS part of the wiki really came out of the breakdown unscathed, with only a couple of brand new entries being lost, and to my knowledge those have been replaced. It was really the FoE wiki that was devastated, and to this day is nearly completely barren.
