Is the art for Gytha's spear having it clearly not be made of bronze significant?

Artist thing, look at Brint's weapons or the mercs. Also it could just be iron, her sword is special due to it being steel. Could be cupronickel or something, same could be said for the silvery parts on Brints weapons.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that the people in the marches will always use bronze to make weapons, it could be that at the time they were low on bronze and had to use iron, or maybe it could be a weapon belonging to her family.

They are the only ones that see use of the metal for weapons, other races see more worth in bronze. Her spear could be meteoric iron if we were following bronze age history, but with kitsune iron work happening and Daliza having some it means that the Winter City has the ability to get iron work done.

Cupronickel could be our silvery alloy of choice as the Chinese seem to have developed it as silver nickel and early enough to line up with some minos weapons, cupronickel is seawater resistant which would be helpful.
