Is Lumia freeing Etheryn from her cage actually planned?

Is it planned for the near or far future? I've heard it occasionally mentioned here and there, but I never saw an official note or plan. I've beaten Allisa on my Brienne save, but I was waiting to visit Khor'minos with Brint until after I freed Etheryn via the other method I heard of, or something else.
