Natural honey isn't sticky, thus I would assume that the honey you produce in TiTS isn't sticky either. However, this is a futuristic game in space and these gene mods can basically do anything. It's not hard to imagine that there are different types of mods that would make the honey you produce exactly like store-bought honey if you so desired, so I guess it depends on your own head canon.

I'm voting yes for my own headcanon. I put it down to mods not getting the honey exactly right, but also because I really want a Honey Glazed status effect in the game...

Processed honey is not sticky due to adhesive properties but rather appears to be sticky because processed honey has higher viscosity and thus requires more energy to remove off a surface.

To answer OP's question the answer is no, because honey processed or not, has no adhesive properties and anything resembling adhesive qualities comes from the viscosity of the honey itself.

Glue is sticky, honey is not (it is viscous).
