im interested in making my own text based game can anyone tell me an easy to use programming software for making text based game. also tell me how to make a save code using it. ive always wondered how to make a save code.

well i found a thing called twine which i im going to try it out

twine with sugarcube format seems to be one of the easier ways to do text programming.
