In Vava Groom, can you still get an owner even if you selected "In Waiting"?

When I first went to Vava Broom, they asked me if I was more of an owner or a pet. I chose pet. When they asked me my "special someone," I didn't have anybody, because I didn't interact with any of them. Not even Sera. So I clicked "In Waiting." And now, after an hour or so, I found out about Sera, and even took our relationship to the next level. And I completely regret choosing "In Waiting"... I went back numerous times, but they don't ask me anymore, and just keep saying they'd eventually find the best owner. It's been like this for DAYS, man, you're not finding anything.
Basically, I wanna know if they can somehow ask again, or if they'd eventually find an owner... or, worst case scenario, I'm literally just stuck like that.

If you've been waiting that long, the answer probably is no. There's a chance the owner-selection might reset once content for owners actually gets implemented there (there's no additional content in Vava, even if you do have an owner), but I really have no idea. I think here's probably a flag or something you could toggle to reset things in save editor too, but I'm not tech-savy enough to tell you which one.

You may have misunderstood, there is no content yet for Vava Groom where the PC is owned by (or owns) a specific person. Nothing will change even if you wait years of game time.

I know for a fact that the botharic are one of the options that the pc can give as an owner, because they're the response that my pc gave. If I had to guess, it's likely that other owners might be Xanthe, as well as that one other shopkeeper in Myrellion, and possibly Jerryn, Lane, and... just being treated in and of itself? However, that's all speculation based on the potential owners you can tell Ara Kai about.

Right now, you can only get a grooming or some training by yourself. My future intention is to create opportunities for you to take both pets and owners there and receive customised scenes, but that's contingent on me getting the time/commissioning to do so.

Language barriers! English isn't my first language, so it gets really complicated to ask or explain sometimes, specifically with time conjugation (is that even the word?) and verbs (and half of the times, what I need to ask/explain must be written/thought backwards due translation). But I got the idea and understood *thumbs up*
