If you could have any mythological creature?

From real cultures or those made up from video games and movies. What would it be? It would also have the ability to speak clearly and intelligently, you could also have it beast like or more humanoid, example Dragon four legs or stands on two, or a Werewolf would be more like a Lupine.

Interesting to me. Why and what would you choose to be as well? Me I would be a Lupine obviously as for what I'd choose, a I'm torn between a slime and a harpy not sure why but the slime wouldn't have a lack of intelligence just a lack of knowledge about everything like in Non Monstrum, I've played it it's pretty fun.

Mythologically speaking, there's but one Lamia, a Libyan queen who was only stated to steal kids and look monster-like. The snake-like shape is only one of those interpretations, just like how they're sometimes portrayed as bloodsucking beings. I would like to know why it's now associated with nagini when Melusine could be a more fitting reference. I read this happened over time (possibly, literal centuries), what with the "lamia is now a race" and "lamia is so and so". As someone who likes mythology, this is something I'd love to understand better. I guess that's why, when it comes to mythology, I would like to learn from the likes of Chiron, Mímir or Dian Cecht -as I could do with some medical knowledge-.

Any of the myriad of homemaking spirits a lot of cultures seem to feature will do for me, because the only thing I hate more than a mess is dealing with it myself. Plus those spirits tend to be chill and extremely grounded in their thinking, so I'll likely get some nice advice out of it as well.

Two absolute truths of the medical field:

1) Everyone lies

Or angrily wonders why they're having tests run in the ER and is confused that they haven't been given over the counter ibuprofen.

2) Sooner or later, all bleeding stops

Depends on the stupidity of the person and it's still a bitch to clean up.

I would want a dragon. Some versions can shape shift, they're strong, they get all that good shit, and look majestic af.

Eh, I think you missed the point of my post.

1) It was a joke.

2) "Everyone lies" means PATIENTS.
"How many drinks have you had?"
"How many drugs did you take?"
"How did the plunger end up in your ass?"

3) You really don't have to worry about stopping the bleeding because sooner or later, it'll stop. Like, FOREVER.
