Okay, obviously you need Kinetic damage. But do you need Electric and Poison damage? Do either of them fit into the idea of the Grim Reaper? Corrosive might be a better fit.

Now, is it a scythe or a sickle? Because the former fits in better with the Reaper aesthetic. And if that is the case, reduce the evasion, because using a scythe telegraphs where it's going. And if it is a sickle, its about keeping the thing away from you.

Look, rethink your design philosophy. Start small and then take a step back, think about if you need to add something or not. Because its easier to add something small than starting off big and then having to revise. Its always better to start underpowered, because you can see where you need to improve, whereas going full bore will just make it look like a joke.

Just something to consider.

Its a Battle Sickle I had to rename it "The Reaper"(Battle Sickle) instead of "The Grim Reaper" (Scythe) Corrosive Wears away at armor I may botch it as I don't run into to many armored enemies, Electric is effective with shields But both fall under the category of natural entropy I could replace it with poison but eeh IDK.
Almost every Melee weapon I've Seen has the kinetic damage type as I've yet to find one without the Kinetic Damage some how factored into its design aside from the Bio Whip. Plus I was trying to break away from the norm a bit. Hell if you want I Could Send Over the List if you don't mind a bit of reading. I'm still organizing it as its still a cluttered mess. I'm proficient at writing books but this I may have bitten off more than I can Chew formatting is giving me a damn headache.

I can feel my IQ dropping as I read through this. So I'll stop wasting my time on this thread, and ignore you so it doesn't show up for me anymore.

Okay, this will be the last thing I have to say in this thread because apparently I'm a masochist.

Despite what you might think, the people on this forum want writers to succeed. They want their ideas to become real. They want to see new additions for the game. So they might criticise, they might offer advice, but it comes from a good place. And they want writers to improve.

But if that advice is being ignored, well that presents something of a problem. Because why should people contribute if they're going to be ignored. Why waste good time on something that is going to get rejected.

We want to see new melee weapons added to the game, there's not that many of them. But they need to be balanced. They need to fit into the game. A gun that sprays acid evokes the image of an alien mining device or a Saurmaurian Hammer should be something brutally efficient - it smashes and it smashes really well. But a rusty axe makes me think of something you'd find in either a fantasy game or a low rent survival horror. Where are the vibroblades? The energy blades? The knuckledusters crackling with electricity? Instead we saw the Grim Reaper's scythe and a stick covered in muck. One is going into a very dark place and the other is supernatural. Which don't fit into the tone of TiTS.

Look, if you learn anything from this, listen to what people have said. There are dozens of writers on this forum, many of whom have contributed to the game. They know what works, what is to be expected and what will be rejected. Listen to what they have to say. Use their knowledge and take advantage of their experience. You can only become a better writer for that.
