Hello! I'm really enjoying CoC2 but am having what I'm guessing is a glitch. I am aware of Evelyn but never clicked the "Door" interaction in hawkthorne, where you first peek through her door and meet her. Decided it to save that interaction for the future. So I moved on and did the winter city questline and made it over to Khor'minos, and only now, many saves later, have i noticed her "Door" button and interaction are gone entirely. No amount of waiting/sleeping seems to bring that interaction back. I plan on interacting with her character now because (I'll spoiler tag this for anyone who hasn't done the quest)
I tried doing some edits to my save file manually to bring the "Door" interaction (and Evelyn) back into the game, with some success, but I get hit with the "This save file has been modified" message when I start the game, and I'm afraid I might break something down the line if i do this poorly.
So, is there any way to encounter evelyn after entering khor'minos for the first time? (I'm confused as to why why entering the city removes her if you hadn't interacted with her up to that point.) And if not, could I request for my save file to be modified only just so that I'm able to meet Evelyn without having to reload from an ancient save and abandoning a lot of progress? I'll include the save file. Thank you!
I'm now in the "Teatime for Dragons" quest, and I want to make Evelyn my choice to become a dragon.
