So I changed computers recently and thus had to reinstall my media player. Unfortunately it's since "updated" and apparently no long supports SWF files. I want to be able to play my Trials Files and I'm pretty leery of online freeware. Anybody know a good one? For Windows.

You weren't aware that this was a well-known issue or that you could use a forum's Search function?
Sorry if it feels like I'm picking on you, but it gets old having numerous people popping in to ask the same question over and over again. Especially months after a known issue is made public.
Either. I'm still not finding much that directly answers my question. I'm mostly finding people inquiring about specific tech issues. Somebody mentioned something called Newgrounds. Does that work? Is it safe?
I wasn't using adobe or a web browser by the way, I was using PotPlayer so this is a completely new issue for me.

If one of those doesn't help, you could always post in the latest one (as opposed to a subforum dedicated to General Bullshit, aka "Anything But Porn Games") asking specifically about PotPlayer (whatever that is).

It's a video and music media player, but it worked for flash too. It worked beautifully for Trials. I'm a bit disappointed by the loss. I'm also not the tech savviest person around so don't expect... competent understanding or optimal forum surfing from me.
I'm 47. I expect everyone's more tech-savvy than me, but I know the basics of a forum and how to use Google.
Well I tried the Newgrounds thing, which also doesn't seem to work. My only plan now is to try to hunt down an older version of the thing I had been using. Which is also something I'm probably not going to have the skills for.
