Hybrid problems?

So I like having my character pregnant but sometimes even after having EXTREMELY high fertility (save editor and setting fertility to a very large number) it still seems to have problems getting pregnant. often with races that are not my character's own like one save Steele is a Suula but can't have children with zil.
is there somesort of hybrid problem or am I just unlucky?

Not all pregs are multivag compatible and there is an element of chance to preg functions, I would say it is a matter of numbers

soo its just random chance?

there is no way to make the chance 100%, so you are probably just experiencing the 1s out of 99%

In the majority of cases, 1000% fertility is enough.

and the base zil male. is there a better setting.
and the number is just dumb setting no real reason its just that high its just easy to set it somewhere around that

You sure you didn't screw yourself over by inputting a value that would give a NaN result? Dude, just set it to 100k and call it a day.

it didn't give me a warning when I set it but yeah will change it. was just a easy number to set it to
have know set it to 100000.0 with nothing in the multiply

And even then 1000% fertility is enough for most people. I just have mine at 100k because I had nothing better to do at the time.

welp soon after i set it and two encounters with Zil got my character double pregnant
