Backers can go to Dhaal, Public can go anywhere else.

There are a handful of things that weren't in Flash:
Syri's recruitment, scenes for Kase (& Ramis), Kelly, Lund some new scenes on Dhaal. Ships now have internal maps like the Sidewinder did when it was a 'Dungeon'. More complicated Circuit puzzles, the map needs to be filled out manually outside towns. You can initiate fights with Zheng Shi's Mining Robots even if you have the RFID Badge.
Cheats (Codex/V-Ko) have been replaced with the Cheat Menu: Once you've loaded your save, go to the Title Screen and click the 'i' in TiTS 3 times. There will be a new tab in the Options menu.
There are still a number of bugs left, including crashing bugs that get introduced periodically where there weren't any crashes before. Fortunately, those tend to get patched back out fairly quickly.

Cool! I think I've waited long enough that things should be pretty up to date, so I'll be sure to give it a whirl! Fingers crossed my save hasn't been so fucked up by my save editing that nothing breaks lol.

But wait.... is the entirety of Dhaal locked behind patreon? I thought it was that non backers just had to wait for monthly bulk updates while backers got updates as they were cranked out? Did that change?

That didn't change, but the way they scheduled the rollout of the port's content meant that backers were always one story planet ahead of public players; I'm pretty sure Dhaal's going to go public again in the next major update, which should be within this week (assuming they're going to have the same public-backers cycle they did before the JS conversion, where the first update each month makes all current content public).

Ah, ok. Well, hopefully now that the Javascript port is all caught up things will go back to the old system. Fingers crossed!

Thanks man!

There are 3 bugs I know of with the Save Conversion function:
1. It deletes equipped Accessories. Your inventory is safe, so unequip you Accessory before converting.
2. It seems to reduce lip size.
3. Tail Genitalia default to Pink Human regardless of what they actually were.

I know of at least one more with the Gray Goo armor. If you have the Mirrored flag from Myrellion, it doesn’t transfer over, and you instead get a resistance flag that just says 7.

Hm....... ok now I'm kinda skeptical.... cuz I actually did a lot of messing around with my save file, including changing some big stuff, like the outcome of KaraQuest....

I'll keep a backup around just in case.....

And hopefully that Great Majin bug will be fixed soon. Have there been reports made on all these?

Yes. There's no guarantee they've been seen though. Please excuse me while I go on a rant.
Reports work on a last-in, first-out system. As such, they are vulnerable to getting buried. Generally, only reports on the first two pages are addressed. Any further than that and they'll never be seen. I've stopped reporting because odds are it will be on page 5 by the time anyone comes on. Lately, the primary bug handlers are lowercase_donkey and DrunkZombie. They're only on a couple of times a week and DrunkZombie prioritizes pregnancy bugs. And I suspect they've been roped into primary coding to get parity with Flash. If the forum has been flooded with reports of a recently introduced common bug, it's even worse. Seriously, I've seen a half-dozen or more reports on the first page alone (usually by new accounts) that report the same bug. Sometimes with identical titles, because lots of people don't bother to do a quick scan to see if it's already reported. There's a Forum for Fixed bugs, but they're incosistant with moving the reports, so addressed reports clog up the system.
I wish the devs would take a week and do bug reports. Even just a couple of days would make a big difference.

Yeah, I kinda agree. But it should be mentioned that I'm pretty sure Fen does a lot of bug squashing himself. I report shit all the time, or at least I used to, and he was always the one to label them done and dusted.

That said, I think maybe one or two new people dedicated purely to bug and typo fixes would greatly help overall, not just with keeping up with the flow or taking pressure off the rest of the team, but also helping to boost overall community engagement, which is critical for games like this.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a week, or even a month or two of development hiatus for the sake of focusing purely on bugfixing being done. If anything I'd welcome it, as it shows the team is dedicated to making the game as good and as polished as possible. With how big the scope of the game is reaching, it's imperative they keep everything together before it all crumbles under its own weight.

Maybe they can do a poll or something to figure out what people really want, idk.

But I have no clue how to make a game, so I'm not going to be so bold as to demand any of this, or act like it would be the better thing to do. I'm mostly just spitballing here tbh. Regardless, im sure that with the javascript port finally getting all nice and pretty, theyll figure something out soon.

When I joined, Jacques00 handled the bugfixes. Fenoxo took over during the port to JavaScript, since all the other coders were focused on that. He still comes on about once a week. I've noticed that if he's on doing bugfixes, there will usually be a new version in the next day or so. DrunkZombie and lowercase_donkey are volunteer coders and I definitely see them more often. It seems to have slowed down, too.

Hopefully, they're just pushing for Dhaal and can spare more effort afterward. With Fenoxo now working on the next story dungeon, I don't know if he'll be doing bugfixes for a while. On the other hand, I know they have a huge backlog of things to implement that I'm sure they really want to get started on. I imagine it will be a relief to start making forward progress instead of doing things they've already done. At least it's not impolite to bump an old report every now and then.

I do appreciate that they found a way to release Public and Backers at the same time. Keeping the Public current helps keep the redundant reports down. It's also generated some when a major bug slipped through. Like Mail crashing.
I'm guessing Dhaal will be in the next patch or two, and they do one about once a week. You actually can use items from Dhaal, including Cybernetic Implants, in imported saves, the Public just can't actually go there. No idea if Great Majin not being encounterable is an oversight or a bug. I know they disabled a bunch of things to get it running, bringing things back online as people remind them. Or it might not be configured correctly.
They still need to finalize some Ship stuff.

Speaking of the Save Editor, start-5 is working on one for JS. In the meantime, you can do a lot of things with Browser Console commands.

Here's hoping things go smoothly.
