Maybe I'm just being stupid, but how do you get Oma to like you and grant you wishes that you want?

Have a high enough cunning stat (you can cheat this by drinking the drink that maxes out the stat from garth) and wish for her freedom first. This'll open up the other two wishes to be non-loophole abused and actually work in your favor.
