How does character height work for nagas?

What I mean is if my character is 6'5" does that mean that I raise my torso off the ground to that height, or that is my total length. If it is the latter then we are very small even at 13', while if its the former I really wish we were given a idea of how long we are personally I reckon we would be on average 3 to 5 times our listed height depending on a few things.

I am basing this off information I found that says that in general most snakes in the cobra family can free lift (meaning they have nothing to help support them) up to 1/3 of their body up off the ground, so if we apply this to our PC I doubt we would always be lifting 1/3 of our body as that would be strenuous so 1/4 or 1/5 would be a more reasonable estimate. Keep in mind that cobras are uniquely gifted at doing this, because they include raising their heads high in their standard defensive repertoire, they would also raise their heads to spit venom if the species is capable of it. Other families of snakes such as constrictors or pit vipers rarely if ever have the ability to spit venom and do not include raising their heads in their standard defensive repertoire so would likely not be capable of lifting their heads to the same level as the cobra.

PS Anything in Italics means I was unable to find any research to directly support this claim so I am inferring based on common sense.

My go-to naga body imagination juice makes me think of the pc's height as the amount of body they lift from the ground with the total body length being around 4-5 times the length of our stated height. Essentially speaking, imagine how tall your character would stand if they were only wearing something that makes them look like a naga and then equate the length of the snake body bit that slithers along the ground to be about 5 or so times the length of your stated height.

It's just like tauric body configurations, wasn't a thing that was considered nor one that's really important in the grand scheme of PC to NPC size difference since the kink is about normal humanoid body types and the torso is really the only important distinction there. Also, the stigmatization of naga and taurs from sex scenes.

Maybe Height is your Torso + the first 1/3 of your tail? Since a good bit of your tail would be the thighs and legs of a biped, with the rest of your body tapering off into being purely tail.
