I've gone through my Notification Settings to make sure nothing says to send me an email and I've got it set to just give me a notification if someone does something but I'm still getting emails about posts every week. Did I just miss something super obvious? How do I turn this off?

If you've gone through all of your notification settings and saved them you shouldn't be getting unwanted emails. I suppose it's possible that it's a browser issue. I know Firefox has a system that lets you receive notifications even when you're not on the site. Does Chrome or Explorer have anything like that to email notifications?

Internet Explorer does not. Chrome does. However the type of browser you use does not affect the notification emails.
Have you tried unsubscribing from them?
There's no unsubscribe button on the emails I'm getting. Wait, for some reason under Manage Followed Content most of these threads are set to weekly notifications. I think I've found the problem.
