How can i delete a quest from the Journal and un-meet a character?

Recently looked into the quest "Kalsea's offerings", where i need to give a Centaur druidess some unique items in exchange for the reward of being facefucked by her.

Respectfully, I'm not super interested in this, and i saw that there's an option when first meeting her to permanently remove her from the game. i tried using the github save editor to make it so i never met her to allow me to remove her from the game, but her quest remained in my journal even after the fact, plus i now had a "The game has been modified, play at your own risk" popup every time i launched the game.

Is there any way i can remove Kalsea's quest and Un-meet Kalsea without needing to completely re-do the entire game? i don't have any earlier saves on me at the moment due to needing to clear my cashe and cookies recently, only exported my most recent save.

Ideally without that "This save has been changed by a save editor" popup appearing every time i load into the game.

The best way would be to rollback using autosaves.

Then with save editing and you will get the pop up. In saves there is array named quest - you need to go there and found out which quest is for Kalsea. That is deleting everything between singular bracket, reload save and check journal. Then you need to go find the Kalsea flags and delete them. It is more easily done via save editing rather anything else. Same probably can be done via console but you need to be code savvy to do it.

Do not take this as me with my moderator hat on! Ok? Ok. Download your save TWICE. You are keeping one of these for safekeeping. Open one of them with a text editor, like notepad.

The flags you want are:
KALYSEA_RUMOR=1
KALYSEA_MET=1
KALYSEA_INTRO=2
KALYSEA_DISABLED=1

And you want them set to those configurations. Search your file for any other KALY or KALYSEA flags and remove the number. Since you want to get rid of the quest, make sure you do this for the GLOBALS.QUEST_KALYSEA_OFFERINGS option(s).

Do not set these flags to 0. Just make them blank. Save the file.

Load the edited file into the game using "Load File" from the Data menu. If it works, save it into the game saves, and carry on! KEEP THE BACKUP JUST IN CASE.

This should set you up as if you said no to Kaly at her intro, and it won't flag as a save editor. I have not done this, and again, I'm just looking it up as a CoC2 fan for whom Kaly is also not their cup of tea. (Sad and unexpected for me, but we can't win 'em all.)

Appreciate the help, looks like it doesn't work though. There is no "KALYSEA_DISABLED=1" or "GLOBALS.QUEST_KALYSEA_OFFERINGS". and when i made all the other changes, it refused to load in the game.

Is it possible the names for these flags have changed somewhere down the line?

I just deleted every KALYSEA_[variable]=X entry, except KALYSEA_RUMOR=1. This gave me option to remove her in game again.

edit: This still leaves her quest in your log, haven't found any mention of it yet.

And obviously, I do not take any responsibility if this breaks anything else.

No, the flags are still the same, but they absolutely might not appear in the downloaded file. I'm sorry! Stev3DD's mechanic seems like it should work. Would still recommend keeping that second backup, just in case.

Alright, might do that to at least remove her from the game, keep me posted if anything pops up on how to remove the quest from the log.

it's a nuisance and i fear i might forget about it and try to complete it one day, but in the long run it's a minor nuisance at best i suppose.
