Someone mentioned Hero Forge on the Discord the other day and I'd never heard of it. A few second's Googling later, I was hooked. It is SOOOO much fun. If you've never tried it, give it a go. It's a 3D program that lets you build your own miniatures. You can edit everything from race, facial expressions, hair (head and face), colors, outfits (there are pre-set outfits but you can also mix and match apparel head to foot), weapons, items (everything from guitars to apples)...the list goes on and on.

In the last few days, I've built 60 models (a few are variations of the same model...different weapons, poses, etc). Most are creations of my own but a few are based on actual characters from movies and/or anime. I've posted a few below. See if you can guess the characters (some are pretty easy, some may be a bit esoteric based on your viewing history).

Nice! The other three might be pretty tough. #3 is from a sci-fi movie, #4a and 4b is from a video game, and #6 is from a tabletop game (and is probably the hardest...I used medieval armor and sci-fi weapons to make a sci-fi supersoldier).

if you could take the time you have spent on that website it would be in the hundreds from all the ones I have made or remade over the times. the company is a table top player wet dream come true.

Which version did you buy? The prepainted version really calls out to my inner laziness (I love assembling and converting minis but I LOATHE painting them), but MAN are they expensive.

cant make a guess on them only one I recognises is iron man.
as for the model, got the plain one as I'm a pretty good painter. as i can adjust the colours if need be when i get it.

Very cool! I've always admired folks who can paint, especially those that can bang out whole squads of models like it's nothing.

Just finished watching Midnight Gospel last night-it was pretty good, so I decided to create the main character, Clancy, from it. Let me know what you think!

Yeah, any kind of stubble (face/chin and head) is unavailable. I have put in a request for stubble and tattoos/war paint as additional face decal options.

I decided to make my Captain Steele, Isabel. There wasn't a good dark blue for her hair, fur and scales, there's no smooth scaly texture for her arms, wings and legs (which is understandable given the size of the miniatures), her tits, hips and ass aren't quite as big as they should be, and setting-specific details like the Steele Tech logo aren't available (also understandable), but I'm otherwise quite happy with how she turned out. (Her equipment is supposed to be a custom-built psionic/electric pistol in her main hand, hardlight sword in her off hand, Codex and pistol holster on her hips, and a backpack for her inventory.)

2) Click to select the color you want to adjust.
3) Click the color to change the material (if you want).

Thanks again! I found a colour I liked (though for some reason it only worked the first time), and with this technique in mind I also changed her eyes a bit and redid some of the armour colours. Results are below:
