Half Rodenian PC Start and Rodenian Racial Score

Once again, not the mightiest and most massive of submissions, but one I think is important to me, anyway. (The same could be said of all my submissions, but this more so.)

This proposal makes alterations to the Mousearella Cheese item to allow the player to become not just a generic mouse, but specifically a rodenian. In addition, it would add rodenian to the list of starting races. As always, comments and criticism are welcome. The only thing worse than being sent packing for a lack of quality would be my edits getting into the game and lacking the quality anyway.

As for me, what's next.... I might work on a document with some small suggested bionic upgrades at various points, including bionic transformatives. Make a dragon transformative for those who prefer not to save edit, maybe squirrel or bear transformatives....

But if I am honest, I desperately want a cute rodenian crewmate. SO... I will be working on that, and frankly, even the planning for a minimum viable product there is going to take a while. So, don't be surprised if the firehose of my current submissions suddenly becomes a drip.

I wonder if being born half rodenian would still require reading the codex entry to ear fuck the rats. It's possible that without your mother around you would be ignorant to the knowledge, but also wouldn't be to hard to find out on your own if you were curious about the species that makes up your DNA on the internet at any point growing up.

Not something I was thinking about at the time, my suggestion would be that if you're half-rodenian the Codex for Rodenians is unlocked at the start.

I assume that a part of any kind of education system in a multispecies interbreeding society would involve a portion where you'd learn a bit about whatever races make up your genetic makeup. That only just makes sense, cuz some races, like this one or the dzaan, may have very unique biological traits that could make life... interesting, to say the least, especially if you didn't know about it beforehand.

Like, just imagine if you got into a relationship with someone, broke up, then found out they went through withdrawal from your cum because you're part dzaan and you have addictive semen and you had no idea about it since, outwardly speaking, you pass as human and just never got a full genetic check.

A fair point for Dzaan, which, honestly is probably why we don't have a transformative for them.

In this case, however, you always start as a half-rodenian, and very specifically can never get earginas. So, standard human sex ed seems like it would work fine.

I think having the codex unlocked, but not automatically known is a good compromise. Let us not forget there are some folks who enjoy being brainless bimbos, and not realizing how different your mother was from your father leads into that.

Well regardless I'm pretty sure your dad would at least teach you about what species your mother is. That seems pretty basic imo.

You're probably right, but I am trying not to project onto Victor much. Was Victor a hero, a bastard, in between? I prefer not to ascribe actions to him unless I need to, and in this case I don't think I do.

Also, if we're going to pick at plotholes here, rodenians always lay twins, so theoretically you'd have a half to full sibling out there somewhere.

But, 1) This is not important for the game and 2) Victor could have used medical technology to avoid this. He does use a lot of costly medical tech to have you if you're half-leithan after all.

Finally, if you're anything like me, you open the codex and immediately click "Mark All As Read", which is functionally the same as reading them. If the player does that, they will have read the rodenian codex, and the option for ear sex will be open from the start.

Edit: I do appreciate you bringing this all up, so please do so in the future if you have ideas or thoughts. But for now, I think we have a workable solution. If Fen or the staff weigh in, that's another matter.
