A fair warning immediately that this contains SPOILERS for Gweyr, Garth's wife, and will address a important aspect of her story.
So, I really the scene where you fight the endless horde of Cultists. Checking her stats, it showcases her ability her "Killing Spree" perk as an even more prominent reminder that this isn't a fight. It is a slaughter. You really get the sense that there's nothing they can do to stop you, and the amount of times you see them 'defeated' is different because up until this point, with case exceptions, you haven't been outright killing anyone, and even those are choice on the players part. Overall, a very wonderful way to use gameplay to really express how ruthless Gweyr was in doing what she believed needed to be done. Her character is simple but very well written.
