I turned it on the new Auto sorting settings and saw the option to sort storage inventories, i turned that on while leaving the auto sorting of my inventory off. I save the settings and close the menu after sorting the inventory. i check my inventory again and its been auto sorted despite the option being off. I go to check the option, and it turned itself on. I turn it off and fix my inventory again. I confirm the changes and close the menu. I check my inventory again and it the problem persists. I try again and again a few times before settling on turning both options off. This worked.
