The kiddo's supposed to show up in the Tavros nursery after the dungeon....but doesn't.

Does it need some time to trigger? or should it be immediate?

You should get an email 24 hours after finishing the quest if the conditions are met.

Forgot to specify that I had not done [Demand Cuz] before going for the fight. Apparently that was my undoing.

Yet somehow the scene freeing the cuz thinks I did save her. Which is what confused me.

I was getting the "I'm still alive bitch" email instead of the "cousing saved" email, which also precludes the kid from showing up.

Still need the save?

No. You have to save cuz to get the kid so that explains it.
