I have no idea what is causing it but now for some reason the game always launches as a background process (i tried versions 0.9.130 and 0.9.126 and got the same results so i think its a problem on my end but i have no idea what it could be)

Actually, upon trying other games it would seem that any "exe" or standalone application games dont open, games using game engines like unity or unreal work but not games like TiTS, CoC II, or Happy Heart Panic (if you know that game)
