game crashes when trying to make a new game.

As title suggests I get this error when i attempt to start a new game.

Exact same error here, on the public build. Importing a save also seems to do nothing.

Running Brave on Win10 Pro.

Same crash in Firefox. About to test whether Private Browsing is the culprit. Private Browsing was not the culprit.

Just adding that I've gotten this as well. First tried from a current game (was on the starting ship docked somewhere) and then from a refresh of the page. Both times I got the same error.

Hey, it happens! Need to get some unit tests and integration tests in that pipeline lol

(Would make pipeline for this project just saying haha)
