Gallery Busts

There are a ton of characters and a ton of busts in this game, which is great for world building.

I'm pretty sure I have explored almost every available scenario and quests in the game. Looking back at the busts, there are still some that are locked for me. This may be due to some characters receiving busts retroactively. I looked through the character list and entries on the wiki alphabetically, but I cannot figure out who is missing.

If anyone has these busts unlocked, then please let me know. I included screenshots of their locked position in the gallery.

Before Clementine is Claire.

The first of the two before Leold is Myria, the Lapis Hoplite (a summon found via solving a puzzle in the north-east of Harvest Valley at night, then you can use the Summoning Circle in the Wayfort to summon her and, presumably, unlock her bust.)

Thank you. I added those to the original post. I didn't realize that Claire had a separate bust that only triggered if you use the hairdresser service and not if you have fun with both together.

Always nice to see a fellow gallery gremlin. Here's a list of answers in the order of your questions excluding the ones already found.

Anno from TiTS: can be found along with two other guest character cameos via a Halloween event in the woods iirc. The wiki might have a more specific answer as to the conditions of finding the encounter.

Etheryn Fake: The demonic fakes of Etheryn fought during the final Alissa fight. AFAIK there's no current way to get into an encounter where you see their bust art in the right window, thus no way to unlock it in the gallery. Anyone else that has it unlocked, feel free to correct me on that if I'm mistaken.

Feathered Fiend: I'm pretty sure this is the final boss of the Antonina questline, I'm not to sure as I beat the boss after this art was added. Either way I'm decently sure this bust is in the same boat in the Fake Etheryn art in there's no way to see the full bust art within gameplay = no gallery unlock.

Kaede from TiTS: Appears in the same Halloween event as Anno.

Leofric (also currently unattainable): The bust between Lapis and Leold is the character Lieutenant Jen talks about and admires in her talk scenes post battle. If you beat her enough one time Leofric will show up, punch you, and leave. Unfortunately his bust doesn't appear in this encounter, and given that both him and Jen were written by Bubble, who is gone never to return his gallery unlock is most likely unattainable forever unless someone adopts him.

Shadowlith: Taking a quick look through the image files we have something referred to as the Shadowlith. Seems to be the bust for another boss fight, although I admittedly have no idea which one, even though my gut reaction is that it's a part of Nina's quest. Either way it also seems this art is locked due to the boss art never being shown in the bust screen. (This is the one I know least about so this section should be taken with a big grain of salt aside from it's name)

Before Spectral Smith is [Possible plot Spoilers Sorra, one of the Seven] This one is most certainly plot spoilers but I don't know for what. It seems the art was made and implemented way before any writing for this character was. Either way, we can't encounter this character yet, which means this gallery slot will remained locked until they get implemented and we can encounter them.

Thalia's Urn: There's apparently bust art of Thalia in a Urn! No idea why we weren't allowed to ever see it in game though, could either be a bug, unintentional that we didn't see it, or art of something yet to come.

Void Serpent: It's another boss, once again likely unattainable for the same reasons as the Shadow Monolith and the Feathered Fiend. I got no clue where the boss is because also like the other two bosses I beat this one before art for it was made and implemented.

The void serpent and shadow monolith are the bosses encountered in Nina's dream questline inside the twisted wayfort. I don't remember off the top of my head if it's another situation where they're not in a proper place to view their non combat CGs but they do exist.

Upon checking they are in that situation since I don't have them either. Also looking through makes me realize I have a lot more locked ones than I thought! Time to do 86 playthroughs

I was able to find the Feathered Fiend, Shadowlith, and Void Serpent as part of Nina's latest quest. These were apparently added after the initial release of the quest, so I found an old save to redo the quest and unlock them.

Thank you! I was able to find her in the dreams after getting the Oviparous perk.

So now we just have 3 busts that cannot be unlocked at this point.

- Etheryn Fake: I tried all possible encounters in the final Alissa fight, but was not able to trigger a separate bust outside of combat. Such a shame, since we can see the smaller headshots, but not the full body.

- Leofric: I tried restarting a new game to go through Jen's encounters and no new bust was added in the dialogues, whether you dodge, block, or get hit by him.

- Thalia's Urn: I tried going through Nina's quest and all possible events, including retrieving/leaving Thalia's body, but no bust of the urn.

I guess 100% completion is out of reach for now.
