Frosty option to stay after breeding but not stay the 4 months?

Can there be an option to stay in the lair without staying 4 months after your do the breeding or breed options? I would like to do more with Frosty or the Kips after getting Steele and/or Frosty Preggers without having to trek back after selecting the leave option rather than wait.
