For the northern-most area, who is the strongest healer?

Because, as much as I love my slut kitty, she isnt able to deal with all of the damage up in the north

Probably Queenly Ryn. I haven't tried Witch Cait up in the Rift yet, though.

Queen Ryn is probably the best pure healer (and she's got Blessing to boot to help buff your attacks). The PC can probably be an even BETTER healer if you want to kit yourself out for it.

Cait's default healing set is meant to prevent damage as much as heal it up after -- she gives big defensive bonuses and can blind enemies, so they can't hit you in the first place -- but her raw healing output can't match having Group Heal.

Witch Cait is quite good as well because she can heal Resolve.

If we think of Cait's White Fire and Ryn's basic attack as equal

Especially in the context of the Rift that's probably not a GREAT comparison. The raw damage numbers may be similar but Whitefire does Fire and Holy damage versus just normal pen damage from Ryn's spear. I don't recall for SURE off the top of my head but I'm willing to bet you'll get a lotta mileage out of Fire/Holy in the glacial area full of corrupted stuff.
