huh? doesn't eviserate do 12? mine does...Triple Threat relies on your main hand weapon being thrown and light (Dagger, Francisca, etc) if you intend to dual wield for more damage, but fhe off hand notably can be any light weapon, even if its melee only (i.e. Dawnsword).
Thus if you're mainhand weapon is throwable, I consider it better than Evicerate since both will do 6 attacks, but Tripple Threat only has an accuracy drop not a damage drop. plus you can staggar enemies. Evicerate's +50 evasion afterwards is nice, but only lasts a turn so you will need to do some considerable buffing to make the damage worth it.
However if your mainhand is not a throwable weapon, Evicerate is really your only option.
The description says it makes attacks at "50% damage" so I assume it halves everything. If the user of Eviscerate is buffed with weapon buffs, then the player will be able to apply 6 instances of unmitigated weapon buff damage.
since offhand attacks also go through (offhands will NOT be buffed by weapon buff), you get total of 12 weapon hits.
Therefore, anyone with a buff companion (Viviane and Agnimitra afaik) would help you immensely.
I also tried that. Does the attack power apply to each subsequent hit of eviscerate, or is it going onto the next attack?Eviscerate pretty much exists to exploit anything you have that cares about repeated attacks rather than how big those attacks are, whether that's weapon buffs, stance effects, or other powers. For example,
+ =
If you're trying to turn one particular enemy into a fine red mist, this is a pretty good opener (and frequently, closer; relatively few enemies survive this Eviscerate, since each hit is buffed by the prior ones)
