Etheryn is gone?

So I'm doing the winter palace on a new character, and as usual I'm switching out one of my usual party members (whichever one that isn't Cait, naturally) with Etheryn... Not because I like her, but because the druidess joins then

But, this time I found that Etheryn is just... gone. I can't recruit her from the waystone, and she's not in the inn (though if I actually start the palace event, she shows up as the fourth party member as usual)

Is this intended/new?

Check the guests tab and in front of Carmen's place. If you didn't recruit her initially at the wayfort she should be there. If you did recruit her and she's not showing up then save to file and make a bug report

No, Steve was right, I had apparantly not recruited her. I suspected as much when after the palace, I met the hawk with the same "first time introduction" as when you talk to her in the inn, but I went back to an older save file to check, and wouldn't you know, I apparantly never even talked to her in this run. I usually at least put her in the inn, which counts as recruiting her, but apparantly I just straight up ignored her this time. Fun!

I was just about to reply and explain more but it seems to not be necessary. I'm glad to have been of help.
