Judging by the additional 39 properties you've added to the Naga Suit, I'm guessing you did this to yourself, because mine only has 2 properties.

I haven't done anything to the naga suit but wear it since I received it from its spot on tarkus By that I mean I haven't edited any items This also happened with the cow print shirt

I noticed the problem gear are all flagged as Chameleon Tech, but not on my saves. It feels like the properties from Goo Armor were copy-pasted to other stuff that never had them.

Sorry, I can't seem to replicate this issue on my end, but I do see the game-crash with your save file (crashes in any shop or trade menu that calls on canMergeWith()). If you have an earlier save from before the latest release that is working fine, I think something may have happened in between versions.

As far as item objects are concerned, there was a new parameter that was added to the item master object for use in the recent ship item update on the latest release. I just want to make sure it wasn't that value in particular causing the issue, or if there are any save editors that touch items that may have broken something. One we can fix on our end, the other we would have no control over.

I may need another save file from the latest version of the game to compare, if anyone is willing to share. It doesn't need to have the save exact items (though having a hardlight suit might be helpful), but items that have been equipped and removed. But like I said, I couldn't replicate it on my end and it seems to be an isolated issue if other players aren't reporting it--at least for the moment.

Here, I removed the offending items, plus a few others just in case. I added a new Naga Suit for testing and it's normal. You should be able to reacquire the Cow Shirt and go about your save normally.

Yes, unless there is more information or if others have the same issue, I won't be able to pinpoint where the issue is stemming from--if it is fault of the game. All I know at the moment is that it has to do with your items, so if you've changed your items in some way in between builds of the game, that would be good to know.

Also, if you are set on altering your save, I highly advise keeping a copy of your unmodified save file so you have something reliable to fall back on if your modified save file breaks.

I was just about to suggest this. Yes, manually clearing out your inventory will be a band-aid fix to allow you to continue playing. Though if this issue keeps happening then we really need to know how to reproduce it in-game so it can be fixed properly.

I honestly can't fathom how items could just inexplicably gain 38-39 additional properties and item description out of nowhere. Certainly not from a single new parameter.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be accusatory, I am just going off of the current details in this topic. If it is how you say it is, you'll need to explain how your save got to the shape it is in. Details like: how you obtained and used the naga suit (did you get it on an older build or the current one?), how you normally save your game, if you had any other item-related errors or issues before running into this one, etc. If you used the in-game cheats, which ones you used specifically and approximately how often. And again if you have an earlier save file we can use to compare and contrast, that would be helpful.

I got the Naga suit on the previous build As for use I just put it on and take it off I don't believe I experienced any other item issues before these ones And I just recently deleted several dozen saves so I can't really provide you 1 of those I'm sorry if it happens again I'll get you a save

I do have one of your older files (from New Texas), so I'm taking a look at that. I think I might have found the culprit and it seems way out of left field.

If you ever got the Kiro crew toy event were you decide to give her your undies... the game will convert the item into an unsellable piece of underwear. I will try to look more into this and come up with a solution if I can--also block hardlight body suits from being a valid item to give her.
