Entering the Mhenga jungle for the first time after loading a recent save

Same exact bug happens to me as well. Even when I start a new game or load the game on a different browser (I play in browser). It seems to be a randomized event as sometimes I can move around for a couple tiles until it happens. Loading the save again and moving again gives me a different amount of moves before it happens so it's not a specific tile. And basically you're locked out of progress entirely since you can't get through the jungle unless you save after every move and reload after a crash. Which is not really fun. Equipping a sonic jungle repellant also doesn't do anything.

I also submitted the error in-game.
