Emmy Issue

After having to restart the game due to hard drive failure, I've attempted to redo the Emmy questline. I've received the 2nd email from her but the questline isn't progressing and I'm not sure if I messed up somewhere along the way or if it's just bugged

Your character probably needs to buy at least one item from her store first.

I did, I bought the Lava Saber, got the apology e-mail and just received the second e-mail

And just to make sure, you've opened the email? Your also not a native morph yet?

If you've waited a few days, then it sounds like a bug. I'm not having this issue myself with either route on Emmy.
