If that's the case, you should'nt look at "Date's" doujins because almost all of his stuff has bad ends in it. Occasionally he makes you question whether it was really a bad end or not.

I don't mind bad ends with fucked silly characters. At least in those situations, as messed up as it is, the characters tend to be happy in their new roles. ShindoL usually either ends on the characters feeling horrible and/or you feeling horrible for them. I guess that makes him a good storyteller/artist, in the sense that he can clearly convey the emotions of his characters, but I don't want that in my badend hentai. As a side note/another example (of depressing hentai), the "Ninja Dependence" series of Naruto doujin (whose author I don't remember) are also really depressing, usually from beginning to end.
