Duration of pregnancies

How long is the pregnancy for imps in your games? Why did you choose that number? How many imps are born each time?

The imps are soulless little despicable creatures that are despised by the very demons they came from and considering your question the amount of imps born are most likely the same that Kas gives birth to when you track her down at the Wayfort, and for how long it is the wiki has that answer under the pregnancy mechanic.

I looked at that first. It says, "Normal" and doesn't give a number that I found. Anyway, my question is more of "why" the author chose the numbers he did. What were the compromises and what not?

Well I don't know why they chose it but my guess is that the amount that is born is the same amount that Kas births at the Wayfort. Just what for a dev to answer I don't know why.

What is the number for Kas's births? I haven't played CoC2, only CoC and TiTS.
