Dual wielding weapons

I haven't done much dual wielding, but if I had to guess I'd think Balanced Blade primary and maybe Kunai secondary. It'd depend on which powers you want to use too, you wouldn't want to use the Kunai if you were using Eviscerate, because it can only apply the bleed once per turn and it has low base damage.

I don't think weapons can proc their special effects in the offhand on normal attacks. At least, when I ran with a kunai offhand for the bleed, I don't think I've ever seen it proc on any offhand attack except for Dual Blitz, since everything else seems to use the basic attack.
I ran and fought dozen or so battles and Eviscerate never proc'd the bleed, but Dual Blitz did every time, for example.

There is a unique light weapon called Chrysanthemum Petal. It on your main hand and a flame dagger on your offhand is probably the best duel wield set for high crit builds. I say probably because a lot of weapons don't work properly while in your offhand so the high and mixed damage type of flame dagger just makes it a reliable choice. If you don't have the Chrysanthemum Petal then balanced blade (main) and flame dagger (offhand) will do similar damage in a short fight but less in a longer fight.
Will this also fix offhand not being able to crit for some skills, or is that intended?
There's a job that Nakano wants you to help Rindo and Kazuo with. Finish that to the best of your ability and receive the Petal in return.
It gives the blessed(+10 Accuracy, +100 Attack Power and Spell Power) status effect on your next turn when you crit.
To my knowledge, the items themselves are not posted in a specific forum. I mostly learn about new items for forum questions like this one, like the Everblossom Hood which you get after visiting Ahmri after your wedding, and the Control Rod which you get from the new dungeon. There are probably some items I have not found yet, but the wiki has most of the items in the game, these are just the newest patch items so they have not made their way to the wiki yet.
