You take the role of a young Dryad, a member of an ancient race whose roots go straight to The Aos Sí, the first children and worshipers of Nature – an omnipresent entity responsible for the creation of all living things. In this day and age, it is your people’s duty to preserve the cycle of life and contain the spread of the corruption to where your ancestors sealed it many thousands years ago at a great cost of blood and effort and half of the planet that had already been too tainted to try to save it.

To fulfill their arduous task and keep the other part of the world safe from the demon’s decay, Dryads draw their power from Nature, devoting their whole lives to serving Her. When other more primitive races use the essence of life, colloquially known as semen, to follow the most basic postulate of Nature – to propagate and spread, a Dryad uses her body to conduct the almost boundless amount of energy hidden in this potent substance for much more practical purposes, ranging from basic life improvement tricks to the most powerful feats of sorcery rivaling demigods, depending on how skilled the Dryad is. Will you become the hero this world needs or will you succumb to the corruption and join the ranks of those you’re meant to fight? Depends entirely on you!

The game looks good so far.
  • The UI is overall very clear and looks good. It uses icons and colors well to help convey information and also immersive.
  • The issues I had with the UI are that the menu button somehow looks a little off, maybe the background seems a bit too dark for the black text.
  • Also, it would be nice to be able to move to nearby areas by clicking on the map in addition to selecting one of the direction options.
  • Tooltips for the attributes would be nice. I wasn't sure what each one did.
  • I like the focus on playing as a single type of magical creature with a more fully fleshed out power set, rather than as a generic RPG character. The dryad feels like she has a pretty fun set of powers.
  • The games take on dryads kind of seem like nature succubi given they derive magic from cum and use pheromones to skip fights. That's a plus in my books as I like succubi.
  • The game mechanically aligns sex with victory, as compared to a lot of games where sex happens when you lose. This generally a plus but goes against some fetishes.
  • More of a taste thing, but I dislike having to manage my inventory a lot (eg figure out the most advantageous junk to drop to maximize the sale value of the remaining junk) and I already had to do that in the demo. Maybe a more generous carry weight limit? Or just no limit? I know it's not realistic for a character to be able to carry infinite stuff, but I just mentally handwave it as them making multiple trips off-screen.
Overall, it seems like you have a very solid foundation and you just need more content. Good job.

Yeah I know but I never been a fun of "lose-to-get-content" mechanics

I'm going to add npc merchants so you don't have to carry all of that.
Currently the Strength attribute increases max weight by 1 per each point. If I scale up this number and you'll be able to max this attribute, would it be okay then? Or would you rather max something else and just want "no limit function"?

Overall, it seems like you have a very solid foundation and you just need more content. Good job.

I think you have a nice foundation, just a few things.

- I keep going the wrong way accidentally. The directions are not consistent, sometimes northeast just becomes east, and southwest just becomes west. It's a little confusing.
- Enemies are hard to fight for the first area
- No healing station (think pokemon center)
- I missed the corpses and didn't loot them until I realised you were supposed to.
- Will you make it possible for the player to grow a dick and become a futa herself?

Sometimes northeast just becomes east, and southwest just becomes west.
It's autogenerated and depends on how locations are positioned against each other. And because they are not in a straight line in this dungeon a few degrees can make a difference. The next dungeon(abandoned elf palace) will be more straightforward with only horizontal and vertical corridors + I added that you can navigate by using the map. I hope it will help.
- Enemies are hard to fight for the first area
I will add another difficulty levels in the next update. Right now there's only hard difficulty.
No healing station
I will think about it. I have in mind adding a bunch of different "objects" that will give you miscellaneous bonuses but it's not a top priority right now.
- Will you make it possible for the player to grow a dick and become a futa herself?
Maybe in the future as a sidequest but right now I have lots of things that are needed to be done before that.

Version 0.1.2 is out
  • You can now choose between 3 levels of difficulty(previously it was only ‘hard’)
  • You can choose to replace all male scenes(currently 1) with futas
  • New Content: you can now choose your background at the start of the game
  • New Mechanic: Body Statistics(under the ‘scroll’ icon). It affects how good you are with your fuckholes during sex scenes. You can increase these stats after leveling up or by wearing specific items.
  • New Content: the very first community art(at the very beginning of the game)
  • You can now move between locations through the minimap.
  • Added a “loot everything” button
  • Increased the maximum weight that you can carry
  • New settings option: You can choose whether select any text freely or by pressing ctrl
  • New settings option: You can set fight animations to be 2x faster than normal
  • New settings option: You can change Font Size
  • You can now open/close the menu by pressing Esc key.
  • Added attribute description tooltips
  • UI improvements
  • Fixed typos
  • Lots of the game engine’s changes behind the scene
Because I made some serious changes to the game core, this version will break the old saves. But it should be stable now and I’m not going to change it moving forward. The next update will be a continuation of the game story that should work fine with this version’s saves.

Hey Nekon, i played the .1.2 demo and I really like it so far. Your writing of the sex acts is great. I also like the way you space things out into small blocks of text. Part of my problem with the fenoxo games is that they give you an entire article and I just don't have the headspace read it all in one chunk. I have actually been saying they if they gave it in smaller chunks itd be easier to digest. Can't wait to see more, thanks!

can I ask why on earth you're advocating for the usage of a particular browser to 'properly display' your game like it's 1997? I can't think of a single thing Chrome does that would be relevant over Firefox. Unless you're sending all your porn game's data directly to the NSA or something.

I can, firefox sucks balls https://github.com/web-animations/web-animations-js/issues/104. Still, you can perfectly play the game on it. It's just some animations won't work properly and I warn you in advance.

I don't have control over random bullshit mcafee comes up with. You can download the game and play offline(links on patreon) if you don't trust the website. Unless you're paranoid enough to not open local HTML files too.

I would like to say that I am playing this on mobile iOS. The game seems to work really well and everything seems to work. The problem starts when you try to change the screen. The game screen works perfectly well, but if you tap another screen it just turns white. The buttons are still there, you can go back to the game screen and nothing is broken, but I can’t get past the first dungeon because of that. If you can fix that blank screen bug, I think it would work perfectly for mobile. It doesn’t even lag at all, and this phone is far from new. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Well, the mobile version is not finished yet. I have to redesign UI for it to fit on mobile screens. I will finish it one day but right now new content has top priority in my TODO list.

Holy heck, I haven't encountered any typos yet. It might be a small thing, but I always found typos and <parser error> to ruin immersion.
So far, real good.

Well, the mobile version is not finished yet. I have to redesign UI for it to fit on mobile screens. I will finish it one day but right now new content has top priority in my TODO list.
Defining priorities is good, making a mobile version means doubling the maintenance needed as you'll refactor things later on

0.1.4-lewd is out
Hi, everyone.
While I'm working on a HUGE update here's a small patch. It doesn't add any new playable content BUT it adds a very cool and very lewd art of the Main Character(including cum inflation) that I was able to commission thanks to the generous support of my patrons. Go check it out!

Without further ado, here's the changelog:
  • New awesome cover art of Main Character by @vinodrawing
  • Added a Character Art to the “Body” Tab that reflects how stuffed your belly is(overall there are 4 stages, from completely flat to bloated with cum)
  • Because of this, added SFW Mode in the settings to disable NSFW content
  • Added ‘spacebar’ key to proceed during an event
  • Added 1-9 keys to choose an option during an event
  • Added W & S keys to scroll
  • Fixed ‘ESC’ key not working correctly
  • Added a popup tutorial tooltip when the player first collects a consumable. You can turn off tutorial tooltips in the settings

Hi, everyone. I've updated both public and beta to 0.1.5 and 0.2.1 respectively.

They both include the major game-engine upgrade I've been working on for the last half a year which mostly includes changes to DryadScript(my own markup language I use to write and bind events for the game without having to code). For those who haven't read my previous post, I'm going to release the source code and tools after I'm done writing documentation, which will make adding content to the game an easy thing.

Anyway, I hope I didn't broke anything. Please let me know if I did))

As for content, 0.1.5-dildoplant includes eggs mechanic(an egglaying scene that occurs some time after having sex with worm-girl), new room, new items including a fucktoy that will help replenish semen, which should help with some players having trouble due to lack of resources at the beginning.

0.2.1(beta) includes lots of editorial changes, new scenes and access to the main hall of the mansion with quite a lot of content there. (don't want to go into details because spoilers). Though it's just a small part of the dungeon, I'm basically finished writing content for it. All that is left is edit it and put everything together which is a lot of work in itself but nowhere near as much as when I started. It's already reached the size of a novel with all the choices the player can take.

What's your development plan for this game? On-going expansion for the long term or are you going to round things off and set it up for community contribution?
I do plan on releasing the devTools. I hesitated to do it before because they were lacking in terms of functionality but I've perfected them enough that you basically don't even need to code to add content. I myself have used about ten lines of code to implement some more complex stuff for both dungeons, the rest is all DryadScript which uses googledocs to write content in.
That being said, I've never worked with community before. This is my first big project. I don't know what to expect. And though the engine allows for modability, there's a manager job to be had nonetheless.

In any case, I am NOT going to stop working on the project myself. I have only started.

I have already written content for the next dungeon which is at least twice as big as the prologue. It's currently in beta stage. I'm gathering feedback and stitching stuff together before public release.

Hi, everyone. Wow, it's been a year since the game launched. Time really flies fast. Of course, I wouldn't have been able to persevere for so long without the community's support. So thank you all and everyone no matter your contribution's size, even if it's just complaining about how slow progress is being made))

Speaking of progress... I've done a lot in the last year. Perhaps not as much as I would have hoped but hey, I'm still learning new things every day. The new dungeon I've been working on is almost complete but I still need time to polish it and put all intertwining parts together. It is at least twice as big as the current content(and continues to grow as I'm working on it) so that's why it takes so long. $5+ patrons were able to playtest the first 8 rooms but now I'm making it available for the public.

Please note that it's not the final version and everything is subject to change. As always you can play it online on my site or download it here.

I've also spent a great deal of time creating developer tools for the game. I didn't really need them when creating prologue but the game has grown exponentially. There's just too much content to manage and a text editor doesn't make it anymore. So I ended up creating a whole new project just to deal with the game's files(items, maps, etc). Plus, I both improved the game's codebase and DryadScript language to make adding new content as fast and efficiently as possible. As a side effect, the game engine has become extremely powerful and easy to use so that I don't need to code anything for the most part.

This brings us to the next part. I'm making the game open source. Before I really hesitated to release the source code(I still am) because it was a pain in the ass to work with, jumping around all those loopholes only I as the creator know of. But DryadTools & DryadScript have exceeded my expectations. Once set up, you won't even need to code a single line to be able to create complex dungeons. Google Documents are enough to cover 95% of cases which also allows almost limitless possibilities for collaboration.

I've also updated the in-game API so if you know javascript and have some great plans in mind, creating completely new logic is also possible.

If you're reading this text and asking yourself what all those fancy words above mean, I've prepared a special Test Dungeon you can try out to get acquainted with the latest features the game engine provides.

You can now play the game properly on mobile. I delayed this feature for so long because I initially planned to remake UI completely for the game to be played in 'portrait' mode but then I found an awesome artist to work on the game with and with how much art there's going to be it's impossible to fit everything in 'portrait' anyway lol. So instead I ended up adjusting 'landscape' for mobile. I don't have iPhone and am not even sure if it even works for it(though it should) but I thoroughly playtested it with one hand on Android and I must say it's convenient enough to enjoy the game to its fullest.

It's strongly recommended you "install" the game to be able to enter fullscreen mode and have access to the game via your phone's screen.(it will still use a browser to run the game).

Android Installation:

Open dryadquest.com in Chrome Browser. Open the menu and tap the ‘Add to Home screen’ menu item. The game will show up on your home screen like a native android app.


iOS Installation:

Open dryadquest.com in Safari. Tap the ‘Share’ button, scroll down and tap ‘Add to Home Screen.’ Enter the name for the app then tap add. The game will show up on your home screen like a native iOS app.



To install beta version go to dryadquest.com/beta instead. You can have both versions on your phone.

P.S: Progressive Web Apps is a fucking cool thing, you can play lewd games without preposterous moderation by google and apple stores. Yeah!
