I'm playing the online backer version. I'm trying to start the quest, but it doesn't work. I get the conversation going and the get to the point of what outfit I'm supposed to wear. Unfortunately regardless of what outfit I choose I only get a "next" button with a bit of text and then I'm back in the shop, having to readress Sera and now I can't even ask her about the party. There is no crash involved.

The interaction goes like this:
Sera>Talk>Let's Go>Let's Go>School girl>Next and then the encounter ends.
When I go to look at the mission details this is what I find:

The specific issue here is omnisuit. You can work around it be removing it before the scene starts.
