Dating My Daughter v0.0.4 Alpha - 12/11/2016

Hi guys

This is my first post here and I’d like to share with you the game I'm currently working on. It’s called “Dating My Daughter", a first-person, choice-based 3d dating sim/visual novel.
​

Main plot
​

You’ll assume the role of a divorced father who hasn't seen his daughter in years. Now that she's 18 years old, she contacts you and tells you that she would like to have a “father-daughter” date with you. You’ll have the chance to get to know your daughter better, build a special relationship and why not, maybe convince her to have more “father-daughter” dates with you in the future ​

Gameplay
​

You’ll be making choices between two or more decisions that will negatively or positively affect the outcome of the date and the main story as well.
​

There are two stats (at the moment) in the game: Friendship and Love. You can see them at the top right corner of the screen.
​

Every time you make a choice, you’ll win or lose a point (sometimes more than one) depending on the decision you make. For example, if you choose to stare at your daughter’s ass and she catches you, you’ll lose 1 friendship point.
​

You’ll have to get a certain amount points to advance in the game. If you fail, you’ll have to repeat the date.
​

Characters
​

You can choose your name as well as your daughter's name.
​

There will be secondary characters like your ex-wife, your daughter's best friend, your coworkers, etc. but the main focus will be on F/D content.

It's interesting but quite short for now. I'd recommend letting folks know just what it ends on each update, saves the player some time so they don't waste time looking for something that's not made yet.

Also thanks for passing on the info about the program you use for rendering the images. I like your character a LOT more than most of the characters that get rendered, I usually prefer the hand drawn art. Just seems to look better usually. I am not a big fan of the breast size tbh, its not a turn off. Just never prefered huge tits.


But anyways just wanted to say Kudo's, and good stuff. This isnt my only fetish, but it is a pretty powerful one. ))) So thank you for helping to fill it. ))))

I will probably use the program you mentioned to get some basic art for a project I am working on that is even farther away from completion that yours is. (Mainly because I am still learning Java sadly.

Instead of friendship and lust, or friendship, love, and lust. 1 to equal trust and happiness to be with you. 1 to equal her willingness to make you happy, and try new things with you. I have seen some Patreons that the 5 / 10 level gives the current stable build. But the highest / second highest gives access to a trial build that isn't made pretty / isn't stable yet.


Also I have to agree with Tinman, Summertime Saga is also a great game. If you get a chance check it out, if you haven't.

I read the post that you were probably talking about, and I agree about the 5$ post being a little fairer. Another thing you could do is (Don't hate on me for this.)


But drop the Total cost to 2$ for the initial release.


Then add a 5$ level that allows people feedback on upcoming releases so that they can choose some kind of direction at a low level in the game. (A date action, outfit, etc).


Add a 10$ level, that allows the customer more feed back, along with some rendered pics that aren't in the game yet. So the new options allow the people to vote for things like sex toys, alcohol, date locations ETC.)


At the 20 - 25$ level. Give them the chance to add something special to the game, Maybe a solo scene where you walk in on your daughter masturbating on your bed, while watching your porno. Something like that. (Maybe for a higher tier, this is just a rough idea)


Maybe a 1 time 50$ charge that allows the person to work with you to design a custom female for the game, that can be added for a special date. )))


Ok my 25 cents are added, hope that they provide you with a few ideas, and maybe a way to go forward. If not, I promise I wont take any offense. )))

Here's my thought.. if you're only needing to go down a cup size, there's a way to save yourself some time. I know there's some bras that add a cup size. So if you said she's wearing a padded bra, you could leave the first part of the game alone and only change the photos after a shower or seeing her nude for the first time. That way you only planning to go down a cup size or so, that would mean a lot less rendering.

I am just glad that my ideas provided some help, and also I commented on something that might help you with graphic rendering on the Patreon (haspes23). Its called a Rendering farm, where you combine several low end machines to do the power of 1 higher end machine. From what I know of them, there rather powerful, and allow companies like Pixar, Disney, and who ever to get their things done FAST. Because some of their images supposed required up to 3 days to render on a normal machine.


As for second sister.... Or a sister you can change to.... YAYYYY that's customer service right there. ))))


And yeah I experimented with the rendering program you used, and it took almost 2 hours on my PC to get a sample image that I had screwed the lighting up on, so I understand your pain.

New update happening on 10/9/2016


So here is what you can expect from 0.0.2:


+ Bathroom scene: Daughter needs to go to the bathroom and you show her the way. You'll have to resist the temptation to peek though


+ Kitchen scene: You invite your daughter to have lunch with you. You'll be able to choose from ordering food to cooking your own meal. Hint: she doesn't know how to cook so this could be a good opportunity to teach her and improve your relationship with her.


+ Bed scene: You will be able to invite her to bed... nothing sexual for now, but she can play in bed, maybe fall asleep and if she's in a good mood, you can go on a good pillow fight with her


+If I've got time left, I'll rewrite parts from 0.0.1 to slow things up a bit. Kissing scene and watching the porn movie should happen on date 2 or 3, not right now.
