Critical Error on skill use

Hello, so I was fighting the people on Mhen'ga that are capturing a bunch of the Vanae, I went to use the Smuggler's skill Grenade to damage all of them, and got this error after pressing to use it.

I was told in the discord to post it here, so here it is, I don't know what this error means, or what caused it, it's the first time i've gotten it.
