Crashing on entering Lane's home.

I tried to enter Lane's home with enough wilpower to not get the bad ending, but each time I've tried I get this error. It will succeed if will power is low enough and I get the bad end, it's just frustrating.

This is still a thing. My error message is very similar to OP. High willpower + kicked addiction to Lane + entering Lane's place = critical error.

When i first encountered this bug i thought it was a compatibility issue. My character was treated with the cumcow variant of "The treatment" and his willpower prone to changes... - or so i thought, turns out D4C only alters intelligence according to the wiki,

- D4C might be bugged as well btw, my character gains intelligence when... but never looses any, now it has some stupid amount of intellect 1k something i guess... not that i mind all that much, the effective value is like ten point above normal level possibility -

I started a new - not treated - character to find out more about Lane's bug and saved before entering the shop "just in case". This allowed me to test a few hypothesis, to no avail. This bug is not linked to the treatment, it is not linked to the player's character gender, it is not linked to Lane's gender as far as i can tell, having played around with those variables in hope to find a way around the bug.

Even if the bug is not fixed soon could someone disclose what this "f" variable is, maybe there is a way around the bug before it can be solved. I mean other than avoiding confronting Lane

Also, still with my attempts to circumvent the bug while you guys try to fix it i used an old desktop copy i had of the game, a version prior to the apparition of the bug 0.8.156

Well, it didn't work as intended, but may prove usefull to you as an hint as to where the bug is located

So when i convert my files back to the online version of the game after having confronted Lane about it on the desktop version the quest goes back a couple steps from completion, to the point when your crew member confronts you about the missing cash.

I thought that this may prove usefull into detecting the faulty line of code.

Fixed
