Crashed when first exiting the ship during beginning of the game

Created a Suula Character, Mischievous, Mercenary, C cup, 14", Intelligence, Balanced, skipped tutorial, took Celise, Female rival. I did not immediately exit the ship when the message came up that I had to. I moved around the ship, checked email, checked character info, just checked out the new options for menus and such. Then exited the ship and received a critical error.

When the Message that I had ship damage, during the intro came up I clicked the email button, checked emails, inventory, then moved around the ship a bit. Then finally once I decided to exit, game crashed and I received the message above for Critical Error.
