Could a male Vesparan be a handmaiden/hive knigth?

I had the brilliant idea of writing a male Vesparan that's big and hunky but according to codex they are all femboys and small but handmaidens are big and strong, so I wondered if a male could be a handmaiden or is locked to women as it says in the name?

AFAIK the sexual dimorphism in vesparians is extremely pronounced, so the likelyhood of a drone being born and/or growing hunky naturally is pretty small. That being said, nothing prevents you from writing a brave lad that strives to rise above his station, either as someone who already took some steps towards becoming stronk and proving his worth to the rest of the hive, or someone who requests PC's help in doing so. People tend to love a good underdog story, and just recently some people expressed interest in specifically a manly hornet character.

I see! thank you! I think I was the one who expressed interest in a manly hornet character but aside from that this is pretty helpful!

Indeed it was you, lol, my bad. Though to be fair, Kain's popularity in TiTS seems to be pretty high, and that particular bee man is quite forceful and domeneering, not to mention a bit of an asshole. So if you write a manly hornet guy who is also nice (or at least has a gentle side ala Brint), he will need to beat the suitors back with a stick, both in-universe and in terms of players. :D

In any case, I'm glad to be able to help, even a little.
