My most played character is a Dragon Demon who has her corruption maxed out and who makes Wayfort a safe haven for demons who pledge fealty to her but still purges corruption from the realm. Because corruption doesn't block any options from gameplay (at least that I've seen so far), I'm able to play the character like this unlike in CoC1 where corruption was a more restrictive mechanic to the point where I'd need to play pure for a good portion of the game before going all in. That said, I do understand that it makes more sense in CoC1 considering that takes place in a world where corruption has taken a firm hold while CoC2's world is still free from it enough there's plenty more opportunities for respite.
