The rift first opened in No Man's Land, between the brave French and the brutish Germans, during this vicious battle of mud and fire. Out from this treacherous gap un-Christian things came out; a plague of sinful monsters and monstrous sin, spreading throughout the field. While the first was simple to handle, the second has been somewhat more problematic; corrupted infantry men rebelling against their officers or, worse, officers themselves become unto demons, their bodies and minds corrupted beyond repair. A new invader has joined this fretful war; the Children of Lethice, as they call themselves. However, we are not to fear; a team of intrepid young explorers, armed with the latest weaponry, have been commissioned to infiltrate this ungodly enemy's territory and strike out into its depths.

Good luck, chaps; you'll need it.

Game Rules
The rules used for this will be d20 based, although with slight adjustments to fit in more with the setting, the first being that at the start, you will be a human with a d8 HD, regardless of any other choices you make, and that to start out, rather than choosing a class, you choose two traits from a pre-existing nonmagical classes and use them. The next is that you'll have access to some truly devastating weapons, especially when compared to most D&D equipment. This also means weapon proficiency won't be included, for understandable reason. However, they have limited ammunition, so be careful about that.

Corruption will be a factor, which will grow depending on certain action. While it will initially start at 0, as it grows, it will impact you in certain ways that you will see...

For French soldiers, your weaponry is wrong. Unless you're using non-French soldiers, despite their overwhelming presence in WW1. Enfield was primarily a loan/supplementary weapon due to being a British weapon. They used the Lebel.

Well, your right about that. I was just saying your playing as British special forces, so I put focus on what weapons they would have. However, I’ll correct that little issue!
