I have over 500 hours in New Vegas but that's multiple runs. Don't get me wrong, overall NV was a better game story-wise but FO4 had lots of play time if you cared about building settlements and base construction. New World Blues and Lonesome Haerts were two of the best DLCs I have ever played.

Actually it’s Old World Blues and Lonesome Road, unless you meant Honest Hearts. It seems you accidentally combined them together.

Does anyone else wonder what's gonna happen when your character dies, if your character isn't immortal, because they've given their Soul to all of the Daedric Princes and all that?
All of them get into an argument over who owns your soul. Sheograth has the last laugh because that was his plan all along.

Similarly: Sheogorath had the last laugh in oblivion, in picking the person who all the other gods gave their artifacts to as his replacement. Thus, by becoming sheogorath, sheogorath now has all of their stuff.

The Dragonborn dlc should have made it blatantly clear. You aren't going to die because Hermaeus Mora isn't going to let you. The instant you pull some shit that makes Mora feel like his limited edition Last Dragonborn champion is gonna bite it, you'll lose your roaming privileges.

Ouch... Good thing we're basically, or literally, invincible.

I know, right? Alright I know what this clearly means. It means we need a silly mode only option to FUS ROH DAH at the frost wyvern.

Maybe frostie should slap the MC in response and inform him that this only works in video games,,,

Tsun flat out said that Sovngarde is your destination when you die. Also, Hermaeus Mora isn't all knowing or all powerful. Likes to pretend he is, but he isn't. My bet would be that the Dragonborn's Soul goes to Akatosh.

Hmm... would TiTs end open ended as in you can continue playing, or would it end with Steele cracking open the safety deposit box in Tavros?

Key phrase is "when you die." Mora has already demonstrated that he is more than capable of whisking away dragonborn he doesn't want to bite the dust. Also Mora is one of the most powerful of the princes, possibly second only t he Sheogorath / Jyggalag, and has some weird and not fully understood ties to akatosh. Unfortunately I've lost my nice image that explained that bit better than I can explain it.

TES lore is fucked up (in a good way) because of literal time and space shenanigans, specifically in the time before time. All stories are true in some aspect, despite embellishment.

TES lore would be much cleaner if all the major storylines in each game was canonically accomplished by separate individuals. (And only the individual for the main story of each game was Lorkhan)

Not really. The ingame events the player plays through are peanuts to the complications of the TES story. Hell the Champion of Cyrodiil is all but outright confirmed to have done basically everything in Oblivion by comments they make as Sheogorath in Skyrim.

Including becoming Sheogorath. Of all insane things.

...Which REALLY begs the question of what the hell Jyggalag did after he fucked off. According to him he was so feared/envied by the other daedric princes they all teamed up just to get rid of him. YOU'D KIND OF THINK HIM COMING BACK WOULD LEAD TO A DIVINE PANIC

The God of Mortals is also the Daedric Prince of Madness. Contemplate that for a moment. Does it get any more convoluted than that?

Just going off of things from Oblivion, Pelinal Whitestrake (who you meet during one of the dlc) is an insane mining robot from the future with a laser hand who could literally unexist stuff from the face of nirn when he got pissed. Talking to him about shit he didn't like like Lorkhan would get you suffocated by random moths.

Jyggalag happens all the time, don't worry about it. By the time he fixes things his time is up, and then Sheogorath "fixes" it back.

No. You fixed that by stopping him successfully. Which resulted in him being himself permanently because the cycle couldn't complete itself, and you being the new sheogorath due to mantling shenanigans. Both of these are possibly the most dangerous princes to any of the other ones, and they are bros now. I cannot possibly see any way for that not to end horribly for the rest of the pantheon, but it's never been mentioned since.

Yep... talk about Bethesda story writers just tugging us along in all sorts of directions. I guess we should continue... I'm sure the staff are more than enjoying the discussion here otherwise this thread would have been exterminatus already.

Fair enough. Anyway yeah there's not really much indicating which if any options were chosen in previous games by the player. Bar the case of Skyrim Sheogorath implying he did a completion run as the protag of Oblivion.

I just wished the theory about the Towers and Mundus could be a real thing for the next TES, but im quite afraid the current writers are just too lazy to add that kind of thing since those past 8 years... *sigh*

They want to rake in as much $$$ from Skyrim rereleases and TES Online for now. I get that they're a business but fuck...

So. To try and steer back to TiTs... Pirate Base and Mad Max style world are supposed to be next. Pirate Base will continue the MQ but Mad Max world will be an alternate starting planet. FUUUCCK. How many probe planets are they're supposed to be?!
