My character is contantly growing breasts despite me consuming wild melon blue eggs until they're flat again. Does anyone know what mechanic or iten triggered this to be constant and is there any way besides constantly downing blue eggs to stop it?

That would cut things down somewhat on the assumption that there are people who actually read the text but fall for the Hornet Ring because they neglected to scroll the description down all the way. It wouldn't do much for the people who don't read any text that doesn't interest them, which has been proven by memes to be the entire playerbase.
How y'all manage to minmax without checking the text I'll never know. Unless everyone else isn't compulsively maximizing stats, which seems just impossible. Or people are minmaxing and still missing the text which seems even more unlikely. I'm thinking now that people check the numbers, calculate the item's worth, read the ability, forget the ability entirely and purge it from their memory, and then use the item for those numbers, which is why everyone is not learning about Hornet Ring/Brawn for the first time in the forums, but is almost always reminded about them.
So if you want to help the users out, the solution isn't a bigger, flashier "tits or beards will grow!" message but a crisp after-battle boldtext message "Item X has done Y. Which is your fault. Because you put it on." message. The former will just be missed when the item's stats are reviewed, but the latter is clear because nothing else in the game is distracting you from it (current brawn shield/hornet's ring changes are obscured by combat spam and the former were or still are bugged to proc for npc combatants, making it even more obscure).

At that rate, I'm thinking someone should throw in a traditional cursed item that has universally undesired changes. Few players want to be asexual; having armor with nutty numbers that erases all junk would be a gas.

And that's going to be a 'hell no' for an entirely different reason: The game's not designed to deal with characters lacking both a penis and vagina. Ryn originally broke the game due to not having any 'usable' genitals and all the parser checks look for the Champ to have at least one of those two.
Ah no, it wasn't a comparison, but a failure to recall. Because of the prominence of no-junk possibilities in TITS I'd misremembered it as something in CoC2. As soon as I thought about it I realized I couldn't think of a single example of it for the latter, but that was after I'd posted the suggestion. I am not suggesting any special code for CoC2; in fact, the goal was to find a clever way to express the curse theme with no serious added effort.
The only other thing I could think of would be a transformation that the vast amount of players wouldn't want -- which is hard, because of our playerbase's broad-mindedness (e.g., freakiness). Every transformation is one person's treasure and another person's trash.
