I reloaded the game and everything appears to be working again. While the game was running with the error I loaded 2 saves one current at 496 days and the other at 491 days. During the game with the error the one at 491 days crashed as well when I accessed the character tab.

When I reloaded the game I repeated the actions I took prior to the error which was I talked to Kailani about The Hunt after defeating 15 Vulperine Hunters and then accessed the character tab of the journal and everything seemed to work fine.
